Responsibilities

• Lead teams in the coding and maintenance of applications, web services and components in Microsoft C# and ASP.NET, and .NET Frameworks

• Extensive knowledge of Object-Oriented Design, architecture and design patterns

• Clarify business requirements by working with business analysts and end users; create high-level and detailed design specifications to address user goals; formulate plans – outlining steps required to develop programs for design deliverables

• Coach team members through code reviews, and enforce implementation of coding standards and best practices.

• Estimate assigned work effort and be accountable for deliverables and completion dates

• Analyze, review and modify programs to increase operating efficiency

• Follow and improve established software delivery lifecycles, programming standards and frameworks

• Development includes new product investment initiatives and client-requested custom modifications and enhancements

• Ability to adapt in an environment that demands customer satisfaction

• Provide 24×7 (Tier 3) production and UAT/QA application support

• Require occasional overtime and travel

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in a leadership role, overseeing development and developers.

• 5+ years of experience in and proven track record building solutions based on Microsoft C#, ASP.NET, and .NET Framework

• 5+ years of experience with Web technologies (HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, jQuery Mobile, etc.)

• 5+ years of extensive development with MySQL and Oracle databases

• Strong understanding of and experience designing with client/server and multi-tier architectures

• Strong understanding and experience with advanced development concepts such as performance tuning in SQL and multi-tier web environments

• Experience developing UI and graphical components for various client layers

• Full life cycle experience on enterprise or commercial software projects

• Experience leveraging open source components and technologies

• Broad web technology experience including building web application and integrations using REST and SOAP web services

• Understanding of application business processes and how they can be improved through application of technology

• Experience with a source control management solution (e.g. Subversion, GIT, etc.)

• Experience deploying web applications on Microsoft Internet Information Server and related technologies
